Th’ewali Gravel Company is a fairly new business, and
was incorporated in October of 2001. The company was formed by the current Chief and Council: Chief Doug Kelly, and Councilors - Nelson Kahama, Grant Commodore, and Bruce Sam. |
The Soowahlie Council and their management team carried out an extensive community planning process during the 2001 year, and developed an economic plan as part of that process. | The Sweltzer Creek Campground consists of; 56 sites, a fully equipped washroom, two group tenting areas, a Gazebo, a small store, a pay phone, playground, and good gravel roads throughout. | ||||
