been living in Sto:lo territory for over 30 years and well aware
of the history and culture of this nation. I graduated in fine arts
from Fraser Valley College 1985. Completed Native Instructor Diploma
program also Provincial program. Health is important to me. I still

We need a place to gather indicated by the totem pole, longhouse,
museum, cultural place and pit house in red. Red Earth. Healing
is crucial to our people,
the Salish blanket with the flying geese design wraps us together
in harmony. Four sacred colors are used for many healing ceremonies
. Fish stand for food, traditional and social well-being. The eagle
speaks of strength and unity in our communities. The eagle sees
beauty, free from worlds greed and destruction . Eagle sings with
kindness and truth, our children are watching, listening and following
in our habits. As the smoke ascends we give thanks for all we have.
We must prepare for the future shown on the left wing, housing,
education, economy and beyond. Our Creator the sun or sphere shape
has been here since time memorial, to give us warmth and the greatest
gift Love .
